TPF Bharat Private Limited wanted to launch a new brand for their matta rice range. The unique challenge was to develop a brand that feels as premium and modern as a large national brand, but also feels like it was specially crafted for and by Kerala. Through some interesting design research and a brand definition exercise, the team was able to anchor the brand deep within the cultural celebration and warmth of Kerala.
From coining the name Matta Naad (Land of Matta) to the packaging design with a sadhya inspired food visualisation, the pack became a symbol for the joy in celebrating Kerala’s own.
